6:00 PM Manzie Neighborhood Resource Center - 110 Lafayette Street


HCV HOMEOWNER REQUIREMENTS:
- New Admissions and Current Participants in Good Standing with HCV Program Rules and Requirements
- Have a good Rental History. 
- First-time Homebuyer per HUD Guidelines
- Demonstrate a Stable Work History for the Past 2 Years
- Meet the Minimum Annual Income Requirement
- Provide Evidence of Family Resources for Down Payment 
- Provide MHA Proof of Housing Counseling Program Completion

HOPE REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST Obtain Approval from MHA
- Minimum Credit Score of 580 
- First-time Homebuyer per HUD Guidelines
- Demonstrate Ability to Maintain & Upkeep Property
- Complete 10-Hour HoPE Homebuyer Education Course with Consumer Credit Counseling Services Referral Required 
- Provide 1% of Home Sales Price Prior to Construction

3. Meet w/City Staff to Finalize Property Selection & Home Specs
4. Sign Contracts with Builder Developer & City of Mobile
5. Pay 1% of Sales Price
6. After Inspection, Prepare for Closing & Insure MHA Receives All Docs for HCV File - You Made It!
